Host Illegal Immigrants in Your Homes, Chicago Councillor Suggests

A councilman from Naperville, Illinois, has suggested some members of the community host illegal immigrants in their homes amid the ongoing immigration crisis. Naperville Councilman Josh McBroom touted the idea during a city council meeting last week, noting that Naperville is “a very affluent” and “compassionate community” with “a lot of big homes.” Mr. McBroom said he does not believe the city should use taxpayer dollars to help house or aid illegal immigrant families arriving in their droves in the area.
