The man who went on a stabbing rampage on a Saskatchewan First Nation wasn’t on the radar of the province’s specialized enforcement team ahead of the massacre. Myles Sanderson was unlawfully at large when he killed 11 people and wounded 17 on the James Smith Cree Nation and in the nearby community of Weldon, northeast of Saskatoon, on Sept. 4, 2022.
