Sixth-seeded Jelena Ostapenko captured her seventh career title with a 6–3, 6–2 win over Daria Kasatkina on Saturday in the final of the Adelaide International in Australia. Ostapenko, of Latvia, recorded 32 winners and three aces to dispatch Kasatkina in 75 minutes. Saturday’s victory will catapult Ostapenko into the Top 10 for the first time since September 2018. Kasatkina struggled from the onset in her bid for her seventh career title. The Russian registered four double faults and just 12 winners in defeat. Ostapenko will face Aussie wild card Kimberly Birrell in the first round of the Australian Open, while Kasatkina will square off versus Peyton Stearns to begin the tournament....
