Mike Pompeo: Iran Is ‘Willing to Fight to the Last Houthi’ to Target US Interests in Middle East

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the U.S. forces need to take more actions against Iran as the Tehran regime will keep targeting American interests in the Middle East. During his interview with Fox News on Jan. 12, the former state secretary said the recent U.S.-led coalition airstrike against the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen was “a serious response” but needed to target the real actor behind the group. “You have to cause the Iranians themselves to have real harm done to them, a real cost imposed on them.
