
Shen Yun Braves CCP Interference Campaign to Bring Back Traditional Chinese Culture
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has for over a decade been trying to prevent people from seeing dance and music performances put up by a New York-based performing arts company. Despite challenges posed by the communist regime, Shen Yun Performing Arts has grown from one company to eight equal-size companies. Last month, it kicked off its 2024 global tour with performances in over 200 cities across more than 20 countries, marking the company’s most extensive tour since its founding in 2006. In a recent appearance on EpochTV’s “American Thought Leaders” program, Jared Madsen, one of Shen Yun’s masters of ceremonies, and Chen Ying, a Shen Yun conductor, explained that the communist regime’s diplomatic officials have been at the forefront at its campaign to block Shen Yun from reaching its audience....
