Police Investigating Bomb Threat at St. John’s International Airport

St. John’s International Airport has suspended all flight activity after a bomb threat was called in early Jan. 12. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC), which is investigating the credibility of the bomb threat, is asking travellers to avoid the terminal, which has been evacuated while the investigation is underway. “The investigation into the validity of the information is in its preliminary stages,” the RNC said in a social media post. “Updates will be provided when information becomes available.” St. John’s Airport, in a Jan. 12 post on X, said passengers seeking information about the status of their flight “should check with their airline.”...
