DES MOINES, Iowa–Among all the supporters of former President Donald Trump in Iowa, the Krachenfels family stands out—in several ways. The 14 members of the Krachenfels family, decked out in matching white “Trump 2024” hoodies at campaign events, turn heads. Both parents and their six oldest children, ages 15-22, are donating their time to the Trump campaign; that’s the largest number of pro-Trump volunteers from any single Iowa family, campaign organizers say.
