MP Accuses Media of Fuelling ‘Jew Hate’ Since Start of Israel-Hamas Conflict

A Conservative MP has told a debate in Parliament how the “one-sided” coverage of the Israel-Hamas conflict by the BBC and other media outlets has fuelled anti-Semitism. Speaking during a debate on the growth of anti-Semitism in Westminster Hall on Tuesday, Mr. Percy said, “I have become increasingly concerned about the tone of the coverage of this conflict in parts of the media, the one-sided nature of that, and what that is doing to fuel Jew hate in this country.” He said since Hamas terrorists crossed the border from the Gaza Strip into Israel and murdered 1,200 civilians—including several children—there had been a rise in the levels of hostility toward Israel, which has launched a military offensive against Hamas in Gaza....
