
Former Air Force Special Agent Sentenced to 10 Years for Molesting Child

A former Air Force special agent was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Jan. 8 for sexually molesting a young child left in his care at a military base, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). Joshua Carl Harrod, a 44-year-old resident of Spanaway, Washington, was charged with enticement of a minor in July 2021 and pleaded guilty in October 2023. He also pleaded guilty to making a false statement to a government agency after attempting to falsify phone records related to evidence in the case, the DOJ stated.
