San Ysidro PedWest Border Crossing to Resume Limited Operations

SAN DIEGO—The PedWest border crossing in San Ysidro will resume limited operations Jan. 4 following its closure last month. Starting at 6 a.m., northbound operations will be open until 2 p.m. daily, and southbound operations will be open each day from 3 to 11 p.m. The PedWest crossing was closed in September and December, with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stating both closures were in response to an influx of migrants at the San Diego County border.
