Seal Beach Mother and Son Died in Apparent Murder-Suicide: Police

SEAL BEACH—Two people found dead inside a Seal Beach home Wednesday were relatives and died in apparent murder-suicide, police revealed Dec. 29. “An out-of-state relative called police dispatch to report that their brother was frustrated with providing care for his mother,” a police statement said. Officers responded Dec. 27 morning to the 600 block of Ocean Avenue and found the bodies inside the home, the department said. Detectives discovered that a 65-year-old man was living with his 84-year-old mother, who suffered from an unknown temporary medical condition that required constant attention and care, police said.
