BC Woman Accused of Faking Nursing Credentials Charged

A B.C. woman is facing forgery and impersonation charges for allegedly using phony documents to apply for a nursing job in Victoria. Charrybelle Talaue, 34, also faces a charge of failure to comply with the conditions of an undertaking, Central Saanich Police Service said in a Dec. 19 press release. Ms. Talaue is accused of forging a marriage certificate, an Alberta health card, a Canadian citizenship certificate, and a name change affidavit. She has also been accused of fraudulently impersonating someone named Yves Anglehart with the “intent to gain advantage for herself,” police said. Central Saanich Police Service launched its investigation in early October after being contacted by staff at Island Health where Ms. Talaue allegedly applied for a nursing position using “suspicious documents.”...
