Two Youths Arrested After Remains Found in Search for Missing PEI Teen

RCMP have found human remains in a small Prince Edward Island village believed to be connected to the disappearance of a 17-year-old boy. Two youths were arrested on the evening of Dec. 19 in connection with the case. RCMP officers located the human remains on Sorrie Road in the village of Milltown Cross in the early morning of Dec. 20.  “The investigation is ongoing and several charges are expected to be laid later, including homicide,” RCMP Supt. Kevin Lewis, acting commanding officer for P.E.I., said during a press conference in Charlottetown on Dec. 20. The identity of the remains has yet to be confirmed, but are believed to be those of a P.E.I. teenager missing since Dec. 14. Supt.
