
He Was the Only Kid in Class Without a Cell Phone, Years Later He Thanks His Parents
A ninth grader who has been without a cell phone since the fourth grade is now thanking his parents, after five years of freedom from screens and the dangers of untethered access to the internet. Kaylee Low, a former registered nurse and full-time mom, and her husband, Mike Low, a lawyer, have been married for 18 years and have four children together, two sons and two daughters. The family lives in Alberta, Canada. When their oldest son, now aged 14, started asking for a cell phone back in the fourth grade, they both said no. The couple with their four children.
