RCMP Investigating Another Church Fire in Northern Alberta

Wood Buffalo RCMP say they are searching for suspects following a fire at a church in Janvier, Alta., on the night of Dec. 15. In a Dec. 17 news release, police said officers responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. about a structure fire in the Northern Alberta community of Janvier, roughly 120 kilometres south of Fort McMurray. When the responding officers arrived they found the church was “fully engulfed in flames.” According to police, witnesses saw suspects driving away from the church in a silver sedan around the time of the fire.
