This came as U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan met with the president of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, and Israel opened a major border crossing with Gaza for the first time since the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks by Hamas. The White House and the Senate are trying to come up with a compromise over Ukraine aid and border security. The Senate hopes to vote on the funding package next week....
