
South Australia to Hold Inquiry Into Domestic, Sexual Violence
A royal commission into domestic, family, and sexual violence will be held in South Australia. Premier Peter Malinauskas announced the inquiry on Wednesday following a roundtable discussion with ministers, public servants, family violence advocates and South Australia Police. Recent deaths in South Australia were a “horrendous reminder of how far our society still has to go in addressing the scourge of domestic violence,” Mr. Malinauskas said. “In the past few weeks, I’ve spoken with experts and advocates.
