
Second Circuit Sends Trump Defamation Case Back to District Court

A three-judge panel at the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has denied former President Donald Trump’s latest attempt to dismiss the civil lawsuit writer that E. Jean Carroll brought against him. Ms. Carroll’s attorneys applauded the Dec. 13 decision, which allows the upcoming Jan. 16, 2024 trial in U.S. District Court to proceed.
