
UN General Assembly Passes Ceasefire Resolution, Israeli Ambassador Says It ‘Does Not Mention Hamas’
Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations condemned the General Assembly’s passage of a resolution urging an immediate ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict as “hypocritical” and ultimately aiding the terror group’s goal to destroy Israel. On Tuesday, the U.N. General Assembly passed a non-binding resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, the release of Israeli hostages captured by Hamas, and compliance with international humanitarian law for the protection of civilians.
