Since its inception in 1965, Medicare enrollees have increased from 21 million in 1972 to 65 million in 2022. Projected to reach 88 million in 30 years, increased enrollment is charged by a growing number of older Americans. “There are currently 60 million people aged 65 and older, and that number is projected to increase by 43 percent over the next three decades,” according to a Peter G.
