
US Navy Shoots Down Another Drone Launched From Yemen in Red Sea

The United States intercepted another unmanned aerial vehicle allegedly launched from Yemen in the southern Red Sea on Dec. 6, according to officials. A spokesperson for the Office of the Secretary of Defense of the U.S. Department of Defense confirmed the incident in an emailed statement to The Epoch Times. The drone was shot down at about 10:20 a.m. local time over the southern Red Sea by the guided-missile destroyer USS Mason, an Arleigh-Burke Class destroyer, the spokesperson said. “We can confirm the USS Mason shot down an uncrewed aerial vehicle originating from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen at 10:20 a.m. (Yemen time) Dec. 6 in the southern Red Sea,” the official said....
