The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations has accused left-wing financier-activist George Soros of funding non-governmental groups that allegedly back Hamas terrorists and “seek the destruction” of Israel. During an interview with Fox News Digital on Dec. 3, Israeli envoy Gilad Erdan said that for years, Mr. Soros has “backed and transferred money” to groups supporting the BDS movement that “want to isolate Israel.” BDS is a Palestinian-led movement promoting boycotts, divestments, and economic sanctions against Israel. “George Soros’ donations to organizations that seek the destruction of the State of Israel as a Jewish state is shameful.
