The Christmas market at New Century in the Town of Deerpark, New York, drew hundreds of locals for food, crafts, and holiday-themed activities on Dec. 2. “It is a very nice tree and good turnout tonight,” Deerpark Supervisor Gary Spears told The Epoch Times after lighting up a 40-feet Christmas tree at the center of the New Century property. “Everybody is out having a good time and enjoying the season of Christmas and New Year,” he said. “We appreciate the invitation, and we are going to wander around and enjoy the festivities.” Surrounding the Christmas tree was an array of holiday lighting displays, including deer, angels, stars, a 45-foot light tunnel, and a cart that adults and children could sit on for fun....
