House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said Saturday that a vote to formalize the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden is a “necessary step” in the face of what he said was White House resistance to providing evidence and blocking witnesses from coming forward. Mr. Johnson made the remarks during a Saturday appearance on “Fox & Friends Weekend,” as Republicans mull whether to hold a House vote to authorize the Biden impeachment inquiry that the White House has called “illegitimate” and politically motivated. In the interview, Mr. Johnson and House GOP conference chair Rep.
