House Republicans who were fined for refusing to comply with the mask mandate in 2021 are petitioning the Supreme Court to hear their case after it was dismissed in the lower courts. Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), and Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) are arguing that the $500 pay cut imposed by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for not adhering to her mask rule violates the 27th Amendment of the Constitution.
