
Jewish Woman Abused and Car Set on Fire in Anti-Semitic Attack

A man has been arrested on suspicion of setting fire to a Jewish woman’s car and then harassing her in a separate incident two weeks later. Detective Sergeant Chris Church of the Metropolitan Police said, “This was a terrifying experience for the victim who was just going about her day.” A 55-year-old man was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of arson and racially aggravated harassment. The Metropolitan Police said the woman’s car was set on fire in Tottenham, north London, on Nov. 6 and then, on Tuesday, she was racially abused in the street. Det. Sgt. Church said, “We simply won’t tolerate hate crime, and those who commit such abhorrent crimes will be prosecuted.”...
