The sweeping election result for Geert Wilders whose Party for Freedom doubled its size to 37 out of 150 seats, has emerged as the largest parliamentary party, sending shock waves through the political elite not only in Holland but also throughout Europe. With the result, 110 million Dutch livestock might be breathing a sigh of relief as well.
