Trump Visits US–Mexico Border as Texas Governor Endorses Him

Former President Donald Trump visited the U.S.–Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas on Sunday, along with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, for a Thanksgiving event and speeches. The former president served Thanksgiving meals to law enforcement including the Texas National Guard and Department of Public Safety personnel, with everyone stopping for handshakes and selfies as they received their lunches. “Texas would not be Texas and America would not be America without the service that you provide,” Mr. Abbot said, thanking the law enforcement members who would not be able to take time off on Thursday.
