Capitol police clashed with violent protestors outside the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in Washington, D.C., with authorities restraining the activists calling for a ceasefire in Gaza late Wednesday. “Right now, our officers are working to keep back approximately 150 people who are illegally and violently protesting in the area of Canal Street and Ivy Street, SE,” said the Capitol Police in a recent X post. “Officers are making arrests.
