China Training and Equipping Foreign Militaries to Undermine US: Report

China’s communist regime is training and equipping foreign militaries to strengthen its position and undermine U.S. influence, according to a new congressional report. The regime is also engaged in selling arms to internationally sanctioned nations, including state-sponsor of terrorism Iran, according to the 2023 annual report of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC), released on Nov. 14. China’s efforts are part of a broader strategy to replace the United States and “lead the global security order,” according to the report. “China’s leadership coordinates a range of military activities with foreign security forces, including bilateral and multilateral meetings, functional exchanges, port calls, exercises, and arms sales,” the report says....

About 20 percent of Paxlovid recipients suffer from COVID-19 rebound, according to a new study.Of those taking Pfizer’s drug, also known as nirmatrelvir, 20.8 percent suffered virologic rebound, researchers said.
